Illustrated literature map "Anatolpolitan" for the Akademie der Künste der Welt in Cologne, Germany.
Shift 2 Traces focuses on Turkish-speaking writers who were active in Cologne and the Ruhr region, and looks at how they are remembered in our post-migrant present. For this project, literary and cultural scholar and author Nesrin Tanç and I joined forces to create a litertaure map.
Texts and materials Tanç has compiled outside of official archive structures, were brought together and conceptualized into a map that was printed on fabric.
I co-developed the concept for the map and exhibits, created the visuals and art directed.
